Strategic Plan 2025-2040

A Values-Based Approach
Through an extensive strategic planning initiative, Freedom Quest developed a 15-year strategic plan anchored in the agency's core values. This values-based approach allows the Freedom Quest team to remain nimble and responsive as the landscape continues to change. Rather than being locked into rigid strategies that may become obsolete, the agency's values provide a stable compass that guides decision-making and adaptation through whatever changes lie ahead.

Understanding Our Foundation
  • Our values represent what we believe in and what we stand for as an organization. These are our non-negotiable principles that guide our decision-making regardless of external circumstances.
  • Our Commitments flow directly from our values and represent what we promise or pledge to uphold. They translate our beliefs into actionable promises to our community and each other.
  • Our Pillars are the thematic areas that emerge from our values and commitments, providing the structural framework for all our strategic initiatives.

How This Changes Our Approach
Every decision, initiative, project, and investment we make over the next 15 years will be evaluated through this values-based lens. Rather than asking "Does this fit our 3-year projections?" we will ask "Does this align with our values, honor our commitments, and strengthen our pillars?" This approach provides both stability and flexibility. Our values and commitments give us a steady North Star, while the 15-year timeframe allows us to think beyond short-term pressures and invest in truly transformational initiatives.

What This Means for Our Daily Work
While our planning horizon has extended, this doesn't mean we'll be less responsive or agile. Instead, we'll have a clearer framework for making decisions quickly and confidently. When opportunities or challenges arise, we can evaluate them against our established values and commitments, enabling faster and more consistent decision-making. This strategic approach empowers each of us to contribute meaningfully to our long-term vision while ensuring that every action we take today builds toward the organization we aspire to become over the next decade and a half.
