Regional Alcohol & Drug Day Treatment Program (RADD)

ACCEPTING REFERRALS - Intake now OPEN!

Who can attend RADD?

Young people between the ages of 12 - 19 who are motivated to make changes to their substance use.

Where is RADD located?

RADD is located in Castlegar, however, participants are supported in getting there. Freedom Quest's van will pick each participant up at their home in the morning and then drive them back home at the end of the day.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. All of Freedom Quest's services are free

What will we work on in the group?

Each individual brings their own goals, however, the group often talks about relationships, their own substance use, ways of coping, boundaries, family, communication, emotions, trauma, core beliefs, values, grief, loss, self-care, sexuality, mental health, etc.. The group also participates in weekly outdoor recreation. Group members can express their interest in canoeing, hiking, camping, biking and more!

How do I get in touch with the RADD facilitators?

  • If you are a young person looking to join RADD, you can get in touch with the RADD facilitators by calling or popping them a text.
  • If you are a parent/guardian, you can similarly give the RADD facilitators a call.
  • If you are a professional and would like to refer your client to any of Freedom Quest's services or programs, you can give us a call or fill out and fax our referral form.
