What is the Recreation Mentorship Program?
The Recreation Mentorship Program is an activity-based therapeutic program that supports young people and their adult mentors in building healthy relationships with each other through the shared experience of a mountain biking, canoeing, hiking, snowshoeing, and more.
Who can attend this program?Young people between the ages of 12 - 19 who are being negatively impacted by their own substance use and/or the substance use of others. Participants must live in either Trail, Nelson, or Castlegar.
Do I need my own any equipment to participate?No. Freedom Quest will supply all equipment for participants for the duration of the program.

How much does it cost?Nothing. All of Freedom Quest's services are free.
Where is the program located?The Recreation Mentorship Program is located in Castlegar, however, participants are supported in getting there. Freedom Quest can support youth in getting from their home to the program.
